Newborn baby girl sessions are one of my favorite types of photo sessions to photograph! These sessions provide great opportunities to capture the love and excitement that new parents feel about their brand new baby girl, as well as moments where siblings can bond with their new baby sister! Today I’d like to share photos from a newborn baby girl photo session I recently did in Rhode Island. The session was particularly special because it included the adorable big sister as well, which made the photos all the more unique and fun! Take a look at some of my favorites below!
RHODE ISLAND NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS
1. Get some sleep before your session! At least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep is important for both you and your baby. If you have trouble sleeping or feel rested, consider going to a nap for an hour or two before your session. 2. Feed your baby right before your photo session! He/she will be more content and there won’t be any stress of trying to keep them fed while getting gorgeous shots taken of them! 3.
WHAT IS RHODE ISLAND NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY LIKE?
When I had a newborn baby girl of my own, I was amazed at how much I could bond with her by just taking photographs of her. As she got older, my little girl loved getting dressed up and photographed with her family. My best Rhode Island newborn photography tip is to have fun! Grab a favorite blanket or doll, decorate your space in an inspiring way and let your imagination run wild. You’ll treasure these photos for years to come.

HOW LONG WILL MY NEWPORT RI FAMILY SESSION TAKE?
For a standard full-day session, expect to be in our studio for around 3 hours. Afterward, we'll spend some time editing your photos and preparing them for you to view. This usually takes about a week. You'll have access to your full gallery through a private password-protected link that you can share with friends and family. At any time during or after your photo session, you're welcome to order additional products using my online Order Form.
CAN WE USE PHOTOS FROM OUR LITTLE RHODY PHOTOGRAPHER FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES?
While you don’t have to worry about copywriting in your photographs, you do need to think about permissions. Some photographers are fine with others using their images for promotional purposes, but may charge a fee or ask that you credit them on your website. Other photographers prefer that you don’t use any of their images at all. The best thing to do is ask before hiring a photographer what their policies are, so there aren’t any surprises later down the road. This can also help you choose which photographer is right for you. For example, if one photographer doesn’t allow her clients to use her photos online and another does, it might be an easy decision!
